I love how everyone on Zilvia knows about Henry's s12 as the poster child of the s12 community yet he is banned from cs12. Any why is Brewster240 banned from here as well? He said he was IP banned on the Zilvia forums. I was wondering why I hadn't seen him post in forever. This is why I have been advocating for a long time when someone is banned it doesn't say "members" next to their name it says "banned". That way we know why someone isn't posting. And all a lot of you guys did is make yourselves and s12 owners look bad in that thread by arguing. Why do you all care what some ignorant children think? They are not even worth your time of trying to convince the s12 is not a piece of shit. Let them be ignorant its better that way.

Brewster isn't IP banned. Long story short he has full access as of today when I got involved in the situation.

Henry is their S12 bitch. He has a great car, I admit that, but he clings to Zilvia because, well, because he's not allowed here. So of course he's all they know. And most of them apparently are too arrogant to take a look to see there are plenty of slick S12's. Even the "nicer" peeps on there.

And why didn't the moderators just clean the threads? The locked thread and locked pic thread are proof that Zilvia refuses to permit S12-specific topics on their site. I heard from a few people that Henry is "boycotting" C-S12 (which is funny since I banned him myself before that), but the irony is if anyone should be boycotted, it should be Zilvia for failing to acknowledge the S12, instead just disrespecting it.

I say this because until the moderators locked down the thread and then locked the second "Pics" thread, I just figured there were some ignoramouses there. But the moderation team basically showed us no respect. I mean come on, we defended ourselves. What did they expect?

Stupid assholes. Fuck Zilvia. I'd rather go on KA-t.org, or *gasp* nico!

Nice writings in there arro, ixfxi had nothing to say that bird brained idiot. Damn had the thread not been locked, he would probably start a conspiracy about google banning the s12 and such crap lol. I personally think it is cool to work on a s12 because you have to know a lot more about mechanics and it teaches you a lot to work on it. Therefore not everyone can own such a car and probably why most of us in here are not half-brained like lot of people on zilvia.net.

Basically all your s12's are old and busted, with bad swaps short of about 5 cars on here.

Its sad but its true.

You know I devloped some of the most kick ass shit for this car YEARS ago and NO ONE PURCHASED IT?

Fill my PayPal account with money, I make magic happen.

But.

Really, you guys are all broke. It fucking sucks. Cool car.

I think this is still a great site for R&R to keep your s12 running, I had one with like 300k miles on a stock CA20.

The car obviously has more potential than an AE86, but I have only ever Seen two people kill it at a track, "spencers friend with the white hatch (sorry for forgetting your name, you crashed at world championship), and needca4s13.

Other wise rock on guys, but zilvia has more people who actually track and drop dime on their car than anywhere else.

Yeah, most of us have broken S12's or S12's that are part-way through a build... but honestly here's the thing:

In the beginning, the S12 had so little support. Then Club-S12 came along, and a few people tuned up some nice S12's. But by and large, we had NO aftermarket (not even springs), and so most of us could only dream of fabrication solutions.

THEN, there was BART, and a few things like cone filters and springs and little shit. And we got enthusiastic. Then we started talking SWAPS and people got excited. A number of you did actual, completed swaps, resulting in bad-ass cars. For awhile, it was great.

Then the great economic crash came. Lots of us were scramblin to pay bills. Gas prices were through the roof -- over 4 bux a gallon here in the States. Times were tough. Many people lost their houses, their newer cars, their jobs... and the automotive tuning world suffered big-time.

It's been a year or so now. Things are finally reaching close to bottom. People are starting to save up for modifications, or finally finishing repairs. Give it another year or so, and a number of these in-progress projects will be complete, and we will have some real fun then!

That's my take on it.

well, heres my $0.02, i didnt post cause i knew i would have just got the thread locked sooner, and possiably some warrants for arrest

I consider myself to be REDICULOUSLY loyal to the S12(even though i own an S14 lol). it pained me to see the amount of ignorance and narrow mindedness tarnishing the S12's name. most of those guys were trying to get a rise out of us, and for the most part they succeded.

Even though they were being asses and the Zilvia forums are poorly moderated, they were simply expressing an opinion... it was a bad idea to argue on there turf...
But i'm glad we didn't just bend over and take it... even if it was on another forum biggrin.gif
on a brighter side, when ever we have a lovers quaril between us, we can say "at least this isn't Zilvia"

I also got one other thing out of this... i havnet been keeping up with the forums too much, but seeing guys like David B and the pics he had up, remebering his first post, that mug has come a long fucking way (great job Dave biggrin.gif ) and so has the rest of CS12, much more mature than the kids of Zilvia other such forums.

Now I'm not only proud to be an s12 owner, but also a member of this great community, and were lucky to have such passionate members like Arro, draconis, david b, leegamer and even jeffwins and all the others that "fought back"i wish i had said something but, but i felt there were far to many things to go on about...

(ARRO JOO AR TEH MANZ lol)

but i must ask, whats the deal with Henry? who was that here? why does he have a the hateraid for CS12? also noticed NeedCA18 and im sure ive seen that guy here too...

Honestly, cant say much more than has. I was just curious. Decided to sell somethinge stuff and figured that would be the easiest to boost my post count in addition to being productive. Any way, just cements my opinion of the tuning scene, knowledge, attitude and in general of the States. Times like this answers my question as to why I spend more time on international auto forums and talking with those from other countries. Ironic see the US in many ways pioneered freedom for the people in the modern world and yet we've become the opposite. Also reason I've really not bothered with my project on 'local' sites. meh
