I'm looking to find a T25 turbo to swap onto my car since I have the head off right now. I was looking for a list of cars that I might find a T25 off of in my local junk yards.
I searched but couldn't find a very good list.

Yeah as vegas said you will probably want to pick up an sr20 t25g since it bolts on but I really doubt you will find that in a Montana junkyard haha.

Yeah I think I got mine on ebay. You should be able to pick them up for 100-150 bucks on average depending on condition.

Actually not a damn good turbo, you can't take them very high or they have problems. It's the same turbo found on the later RB engines. I was gonna buy one off of a club member until I found that out. T25G can actually go higher. Now, a *standard* T28, that's a different story...

THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.

Uhh, I thought the S14 turbo is different from the RB turbos. and at stock boost they should be fine from my understandings

My mistake.

I hope the admin doesn't ban me.

Oh wait --- haha! tongue.gif

Then it must be the RB ones that have the ceramic turbine wheels that don't like high boost.

Thanks for all the replies. I was looking more for a list of stock cars that might be around here. My friend was saying that a lot of factory turbo cars have a t25 that would also bolt up but he wasn't sure what cars. But since it seems like a few people on here have them I will just PM them so I know they are the right T25..
Thanks again guys.

DSMs, Volos, and SAABs all had T25's at one point, though none of them would be a direct bolt-on (they all had custom flanges) and would be smaller than a T25g anyway. lol.gif

Edit:
Oh, TT 300zx has T25's, so did a model Z31, the Z32 T25 might bolt up, but if I recall the Z31 T25 had a T3 flange.

The TT Z32 had T25s, but you gatta get only one of the sides, as they are oriented differently (I think). And the early Z31 had a water cooled T25s with the proper flange and the later Z31s had air cooled T3s. Or at leas I'm pretty sure...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1992 Dodge Colt (Mitsubishi Mirage) Daily beater- 4 speed stick, needs some rust repair, waiting to go get some lowering springs, GR2 struts, and upgraded ECU, MAF, TB, and injectors. Next year will probably yield a 4G63T swap from a 1g DSM. Then traction will be a pipe dream.
1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle- Runs and drives perfect. Needs new drums all around and a speedo cable.
2007 Honda Ruckus- Awaiting funds for a 150cc GY6 motor swap, then probably gonna do a VW GTi K04 turbo conversion.
Close.
84-86 had T3s, 87+ had T25s,
