Ok, so when I sold my ca to silvia love, I just gave everything connected to him out of excitement. So now I don't have a ps line and I'm wondering if the stock one fits the ka-de ps pump or would I have to get an s13 one? I just need to know what lines fit, or maybe even their sizes.
Second question is fuel pump, I plan on getting a walbro and I remember Rage saying something about our stock pump has a weird progressive electrical signal so he just wired it straight to constant power. Ideas? Tips? Tricks? Hints? Cheats? Konami code?

Im not sure on the fuel pump, but for the powersteering Im using the stock metal line, with a hose that is 1 inch longer with all the stock fittings. the stock rubber hose is long enough, but just makes it, therefore straining the hose which causes it to burst. which happened to me.boo

Cool, thanks man. Anyone know anything about the fuel pump? Rage seems to have disappeared off the face of the planet

He meant the stock CA ECCS uses some BS voltage. The KA ECU uses straight voltage.

ive never experieance any weird voltage, anyone who has metered a sub 12v voltage then the problem is in the wiring that runs from the bat to the pump, i ended up rewiring mine after i ran the walbro for a while.to tiny stock wire just looses to much voltage to support the bigger pump, if you swap in the ka ecu then you wont have to worry about an weird voltage if you had it since the ecu controls that...

My stock CA high pressure line burst on me too. Get a S13 one.
Not sure about the fuel pump. I am running the stock one.

^ I have that setup on my ka right now and it leaks. I am about to ditch it and buy at stock 240 high pressure power steering line.

really? where on the line is it leaking? i thought those were rated for over 1000psi.

I read in my fsm that the pump puts out 1300 psi. It is leaking where the braided line goes into the fitting. It blows right on my manifold. I am afraid it will catch on fire.

It did catch on fire...

I turned into my parking space at work and the high pressure line blew off at the pump. Smoke was everywhere. I popped the hood and patted the fire out with my hands (I had gloves on). Most of the flames were on the ground. The only damage was to my wire harness and the fire retardant material on the bottom side of the hood. I fixed the harness this past weekend but still have no power steering.
I know that the stock ca20 line will not work. I also know that the 89-90 ka24e pressure line will not work because the pump is on the passenger side. I ordered a 1996 line but it was way too long. (my engine is a 1996). The only OE line left is from a 1991 240sx. It should be in tomorrow. If it does not fit, I will have to go with another custom line of much better quality. It sucks not having power steering.
So seriously, don't use braided steel lines on the high pressure power steering line. I did install the line into the fitting correctly. Upon break down, I noticed that the rubber hose inside of the braiding had been torn out because of the excessive pressure. I will let you all know if the 1991 240sx power steering line works or not.

Looks like a 1991 pressure power steering line will work on our KA24DE swapped S12's. I have not installed it yet, but it looks like it will work much better than the other model 240 pressure lines.

Anyone have any idea where the fuel pump wire is under the hood? My turbo car didn't come with the pressure module crap so I can't trace it back. I'm looking at the FSM and it doesn't seem to make sense either.
