I *might* get a MK2 Notch that has a KA in it, but it needs to be wired up..

I got this pic, and it seems pretty simple

How would I be able to tell which harnesses they swapped? It says use the CA lower harness for alternator, so I'm going to assume he left that as is..

I'm going to take a look at the car, I just saw on the pics it said under dash.. There are probably numerous plugs under the dash, anyone got specific locations?

I'm guessing I am suppose to use the KA ECU?

Please, if someone wants to just post an idiots guide for me, I'd be very grateful.. Once I find the wires, its cake, but there are a lot of wires in a car.. lol

I must sound retarded..

Yep, use the KA ecu. I have a MK1.5 turbo with a ca18det and most of the wires seem to match up, at least under the hood so far. I haven't checked under the dash yet. When looking for these wire colors, you have to look at 2 grey plugs under the hood*. GL. I'll let you know how under the dash goes when I can find these mystery plugs. >_<

Edit: I meant hood instead of dash. I have yet to find any of these plugs under the dash though.

Nevermind. That diagram somewhat works, but some colors don't function like they are supposed to for me. I just re-checked everything with a volt meter and some time. I even tried to stay in the general idea of the stock fuse box, ex. Ignition fuse powers my ignition section of the ecu and etc etc. I'm still looking for the fuel pump wire. =(

I used that to do the majority of my swap. Good info.
