i have an 84 200sx hatch with a ca20e and B trans. i was wondering since i am doing a sr swap from an s13 what exaust would i be able to use. i want a 2.5" exaust for the entire car and maybe a 3" down pipe from the turbo. where would i find an exaust to fit my car and sr in it. i would like it to be stainless steel or somthing that doesnt rust.

its all custom fit man. bartco makes an exhaust for the s12, im not sure if its for a sr though. the down pipe might not line up.

After the swap take it to an exhaust shop, the down pipe from the s13 should be fine, but everything else is custom fit especially since you have solid axle. Custom exhaust piping isnt that spendy. I vote 3" straight pipe. It will sound like a semi lol

what everyone else says, custom system w/ a nice muffler on the end. apexi ws2 for a understated clean rumble, or a apexi sp2 for a more pronounced growl

magnaflow mufflers ftw, or cherry bombs too!

it really does not matter though stainless will be cheaper in U bends, then be sure to have it TIG welded otherwise MIG welds will rust...

Oh Greddy makes the SP2 not Apexi, also it is not sold as just a muffler.. rather only in catback and there is no application for the S12..

World sport 2 is a little large for the back of an S12... Or well atleast I thought the one I had was tongue.gif...

Local construction yard, steal a fence pipe. Straight out from the downpipe, call it a day.
Draconis
make the whole thing custom... mandrel... stainless... 2.5-2.75" all the way through and choose a muffler that gives the look and the sound you are looking for.

s13 down pipe will not work. has to be custom from the turbo outlet pipe.

i've got a 2.5" straight pipe with a cherry bomb inline that comes out in front of the back wheel... not sure how it sounds yet but ill let you know. probably a loud ass annoying sound but its a cheap way to get it on the road.

They won't rust if you use stainless MIG wire. tongue.gif
TIG isn't required with stainless, I work with it all day on my MIG at work. laugh.gif

I never knew about stainless MIG wire... hmm. Well there you have it, Stainless mandrel U bends, and stainless MIG wire will give you what you want. Just be sure to choose a good exhaust shop, and stay clear from large franchise type exhaust shiops such as Meineke, and Midas.. Those places have always given me crap work, and prices.. thumbsdown.gif

The key is finding a "Custom" exhaust shop that has a good reputation.

Good Luck.
