I was setting up my neo and when i went to select the throttle type i select up and then set values for open and close. However i can't get a value reading for the throttle open. The wiring is set up exactly like the manual says on the ecu, what other problems could it be?

Is that like setting the Neo for 2 in 1 out type thing so I can understand the Neo? That was for the RB20 if I remember correctly.

well the throttle settings are either up or down, then you set the throttle closed position and the throttle fully open position, but im not getting any readings for throttle position at all, it should be giving me .5v somewhere.

One of the three wires on your TPS will have a 5volt feed from the ecu, make sure you have that first, then check your wiring diagram and make sure its in the correct position on your TPS....

if there is no 5 volt feed could i assume that i have a bad ecu?

No, Check the wiring loom....Check your pin out and see which pin on the ECU is supposed to have the 5v feed and check it at the ecu, check colour of wire whilst there, check plug at tps for wire colour also.
