I've a KA24E that I'd like to put in soon.
My car has a CA18ET in it currently.
The wiring is the big issue for me.
What I'm wondering is which ECU and which Wiring Harness do I use to get this beast to work?
Thanks.

He's asking about a KA24E ECU, why would you redirect him to DOHC info?
Just get a KA24E ECU and wiring harness from an S13 and be done with it.

Thanks Arro.
On a side note, I've been told that I can use the wiring guides for a DOHC on my SOHC...correct?

yes. me and sterling confirmed his 91 240sx fsm(90 something) for the dohc matched everything on my sohc harness. you have to use the early dohc diagram cause im sure nissan made subtle changes every year. in sterlings mk1 ca20e to ka thread, theres all the info you need and then some.

Silvia Love, the fact that he has had CA20E prior to his KA swap, whereas I have a CA18ET, makes no difference?

You should use the SOHC ecu and wiring harness, I will get you the info on the swap between the turbo and sohc harness. It will be different between the sohc and dohc and between the CA20E like is in the main writeup and the CA18ET. Are you already at the point where you need to do wiring? I have to write up stuff for others, so lmk.
What year is your S12, and what year is the sohc KA?

Does the 89 only cover SOHC? I'd like to look at the DOHC if you have one.
I don't know how rare teh are, but I have a FSM for 1984, just FYI

That's cool, I know it's much easier to find KA stuff online then ours.
..i have 91 Nissan Stanza GXE ECU available if your interested[the car was totaled this past summer]...its the Consult version which allows for dataloging..i believe its easily "chipped" and has alot of support from tuners.

200sxkitcar I sent you a PM, but in case you didn't get it.
Yes, I'm at the point now where I need to do the wiring.
My S12 is an 86 and the KA is an 89 SOHC.
