So I am planning my set up and the S12 engine bay is about 8 inches shorter and 10 inches skinnier than the engine bay of an S13. If I were to get a topmount manifold, A gt35r will not fit. maybe a gt3071r will not fit either due to clearance issues with the strut tower. I was thinking of fabbing an up pipe to move the turbo forward toward the headlight bucket. the thing is, since I am fabbing and up pipe that = more lag due to more volume. and if I were to go with a log with an up pipe, the gases may not flow as well as the gases interfere with each other. also if I were to use a equal length manifold it will be better for upper end rpm but with the cost of a little more lag. and with an equal legnth plus an up pipe that will just add more lag. I was wondering since my SOHC will not rev as high is I opt to go for the log with up pipe.

or to make it simple I may go how Ivan's manifold is where it is a bottom mount and the turbo is pushed pretty forward of the engine.

First, what engine are you running in your 12? That will determine a lot of where your mani/turbo will be placed.

Sorry, just now saw it's in the KA tech forums. I took the link from the CS12's website.

It will fit with a top mount I believe. I had a top mount T3/T04E on my RB20 and it still allowed the hood to close.

so it will clear a strut tower too?

can you post pics of our current setup too please

Just go with the bottom mount like you said. Log manifold, short runners, quicker spool.

I agree with the bottom mount but it doesnt have that flair. lol

I never got a strut tower bar from Bart, which I still plan on doing here next spring hopefully.

I am thinking of going for a JGS top mount log for my sohc ka but im afraid a gt35r will not clear and will hit strut since it ails kind of to the side
