Full Version: Need wiring diag for Ka-e
i need a wiring diagram and guide on how to put the E into my 84 ca20 hatch. i am picking up the complete engine for 100.
First off, put more info in your title. I fixed it for you but in the future please make it more clear in the title what it is you need help with.
About the diagram, Sterling (200SXkitcar) is working on that at the moment. He was working on it over the last few days except today, because he went to play (I think he went to All-star bash drift).
He may already have some info in the KA section here, browse the threads and see. Otherwise, have some patience and he'll get you what you need

Step in line I'm waiting for the KA/E > MK1.5 S12 unless the DE/E are the same wiring wise.

Jeff, take some pics of your harness- where the CA20 engine harness connected to the chassis harness, there should be one or two connectors by the airbox area, and possibly 2 connectors under the dash.
can i expect this to be done in 2 weeks i am planning on installing it in week or less

theres actually 3 connectors by where the air box use to be
and 2 by where the dash it 
but keep in mind this is a hatch back automatic S12uploading pics right now.

I can be patient I've a VERY VERY patient teen/man ha ha. I can wait for wiring, not like i need it right now but it would help.
what about what asparagas did putting the ecu in the glove box? can i do this what else do i need to splice into?

That was actually a smart idea, I think hondas have the ECU in the glove box somewhere. The S13 harness comes from the pass side so it's shorter on the drivers side then pass side. very well done.

I didn't do that, mine's still chillin' on the floorboard. I want to put it elsewhere, because I don't want to lose my glovebox. I'm thinkin' behind where the radio is (which is where my DSM had the ECU).
