Alright, here's a video of my KA24E in my S12.

IPB Image

That first noise is just some pump making a racket in the corner.

We aren't getting spark and we're not getting fuel. We're no concerned about the fuel right now but the car won't spark.

We've diagnosed till our teeth have come out. I used the CA20 to KA24DE wiring diagram with my buddies as reference becuz...well to be honest becuz there's nothing else better out there.

Do we ditch the dual CA18ET coils and use the single KA24E coil?

Any suggestions?? We aren't getting spark.

Thanks guys.

Any advice? Should I be posting this elsewhere??

It sounds like you guys might have made some wiring mistakes...

Can you get ahold of a 240SX KA24E harness?

check to see if you're getting power to the ECU.

BTW are you MK1? MK1.5 or MKII?

the ka24e ecu controls the coil, unlike the 18et. yes ditch the 2 18et coils, use the 24e one. sounds like there is a wiring problem.....is the ignitor plugged in, its on the same bracket as the coil(24e one)

Dude it sounds like all of the plugs are out of it. There was NO resistance what so ever in that video.
You should get some sort of "chugging" when you crank an engine.

I'm not saying the plugs are out, just that that's what it sounds like.

+1.. no chug at all...it sounds like the starter isnt even contacting the flywheel, but the fan turns so its turning the engine...? almost like maybe all the valves are stuck open or the valve timing is 180 off,(valves open when it should be compressing. but since its 180 0ff, no valves hittin pistons) no compression= no chug

i would do a compression test and go from there. could be a combination of that and a wiring problem, cuz it should still be sparking even if it were 180 off.

damn thats a hard one to diagnose with actually being at the car lol.

( sorry for bad english, i´m from sweden ) connect CA engine ground ( 2 or 3 cables ) to body, that should give you spark.. cuting the black ( i think ) cable from the fulepump and connecting that to ground should give you fule:)
