i am think about doing a ka24e swap in my 86 s12 coup can someone help me out with some info?

um... did you look at the stickies at the top of this subforum? everything you ever wanted to know is there! its not that hard, just dump the old motor,and bolt the new one in, wire together like 6 wires and vroom vroom!

basically, if your car is a manual, you can eihter use a s13 tranny and a a front s13 driveshaft or frankenstein that shit and use you stock s12 tranny with the s13 bellhousing. and wire it together.. thats about all there is too it...

If it includes EVERYTHING- as in trans, ecu, uncut wiring,... I'd say thats not too bad. something may come around for less, maybe not. I would get verification that it ran and ran WELL before it was pulled, and some compression numbers might be good to have.
