THIS PAGE IS STILL NOT COMPLETE!

This is for the automatic MK1.5 (silver top) people this MIGHT work with MK1 but i doubt it.

Okay, this is basically a way around having to cut and weld. As soon as you drop the KA tranny in you'll notice the holes are off by at least a good 4" or more. If you want to be professional about it turn back now, this thread is not for you.

I think it should be noted this thread is specifically for auto > manual conversion. (S13)

tools
- a saw
- a couple of sockets to bolt everything up.
- 4 jack stands or 2

On the KA transmission you'll notice 2 fins on each side under the shifter placement. under the fins you'll notice a larger fin upside down from the shifter placement, the one thats directly underneath the shifter cut it off. DO NOT I REPEAT, DO NOT CUT THE FINS ON THE SIDE OFF You'll need those to bolt the transmission up to. now pics

The 4th picture is the transmission bolting up to the stock CA20E auto tranny mount. you need to look at it real close.

Wait wut?!!?!?!

I thought you were MK1 or at least thats what i read from another thread?

what did you do to get the tranny bolted up to the crossmember? thats the only thing holding me back from wiring and everything else.

Me? I'm using the stock CA20E auto crossmember I'm having bolt up issues though (from the crossmember to the tranny). I was thinking of using the S13 mount on the S12 crossmember not sure if that would work.

could you post up some pics of you're setup or something please. I just keep coming back to square one.
