again. As its said i like the idea of instant boost though. and my goal is 300-400 hp. also im thinking about doing the bellhousing swap again for the joy of a six speed from the Sr.
The SR six speed you're talking of is weak sauce, FYI. Not something suited for high horsepower applications.

so i assume that the buildup of the block to handle this would be the same as for a turbo: pistons ,rods ,cams ,bore, injectors yada yada?
yes, in terms of the strength of the internals, forced induction is forced induction.
The same would go for the fuel system and subsequent tuning.

My friend used to have a VW corrado with some crazy supercharger on it that sounded like an old fashion fire truck. I don't remember what kind but it was definitely not the stock one.
That's a lyscholm supercharger, I've had the pleasure of seeing/hearing them on a couple different VW Corrados.

Single scroll system with an interlocking scroll-shaft, which is why unlike a roots-type, it whines:

there used to be a blown corrado in my town that sounded like a formula one car when he got on the gas. was yellow with a black hood, that i dubbed "The Bumblebee"
Mine is also that same yellow. What you're describing is the stock supercharger on the first couple of years of that car (badged as "Corrado G60"). The "G" is for the type of supercharger -- a G-lader. A G-lader is a bizzare blower that uses an 8-point rotor inside; similarly to a rotary engine, it sounds like a UFO is flying down the street. Pretty neat stuff.
G-lader:

As you can see, like a rotary engine it has an eccentric shaft in the middle.
Don't ask me to explain it beyond that, the geometry of that thing's insides are beyond me (German, go figure).
