Usually they have lots of those tubular stainless headers on Ebay... all I see now are the S14 ones. Where did all the S13 DE headers go?

i won't personally go with a ebay header, but thats just me, i'm still trying to get the dc, it's as if s13 style headers all over just disapered

i don't see why, anybody can made a header and it will be just has good as a dc, pace setter ect. it just wont look as good. all it is, is some tubing and a flange. you can say that big companies spend thousands of dollars to tuned them. if that where true, then
headers would look different between brand and cars. all i know is less bends = more hp & tq. not trying to slam anyone, im just put that out there for the people that think name brand is better then no name brands, well for header anyways

I dont know if I would say all that. Not all headers are created equal, especially when it comes to quality of materials, welds, design and so on. Even though they look the same doesnt mean they perform the same. The differences between an "eBay" header and a "tuned" one could only be +-1 to 2 hp but there are differences none the less. You could say that all camshafts look the same, because they basically do, but then again not all perform the same. Get what I mean. Im not trying to slam you but those little things make a diff. Am I saying that spending the extra 100, 200, $300 is justified, no, not for everyone but if I had the $$$ Id probably spend it.

Im personally gonna go with a cast "eBay" manifold for my build. $250, eh, I think its worth it. Short length and strength FTW!

I dont know what ur sayin Arro, theres gobs of the s13 manis there. All the ones Ive seen tho, they labeled them s13/s14 types. Is that what ur talking about?

i've been burnt by knockoff parts on ebay before, i bought a radiator overflow that was a no name knockoff and welds leaked and the finish was very poor, i'm not saying that all ebay parts are junk, just buyer beware, but that should kinda go with out sayin

why would you get an s13 header, they dont fit. my s13 ebay header was alright, i had to do some port matching with a dremel because the ports were so fubar. then had to do a shitload of floor bashing to make it fit. just get an s14 shorty header

i gave henry a ebay header i got, was for my s14 but it didnt fit my s14. egr tube didnt line up, i had to belt sand the flange due to warpage and it didnt stay chrome for long. it didnt crack or anything, i only paid $65 for it. i doubt it gave more power, the sound was the same. i went back to oem and love it. arro just go turbo!!!

well i do see your point your point as far as welds. but 1 or 2 hp, does it even = anything at the wheels....you can say that cams look the same, which they do. they all preform differently and to compare headers to cams, that cant be done. there not on the same level...... but i see your point with the welds and quality of materials. thanks for not slamming me. if your going to disagree with anyone, disagree respectfully and you did that

definitely do that, and about the egr, you should just take it off, and buy a plug from nissan for the header ~11 bucks iirc.

Yeah Im not out here to be a dick just because Im sitting behind a keyboard and I think its a god given right like tons of ppl on the net (i.e. lots off ppl on fuck-youtube.com) haha.

But yeah I say go for it. Im probably the cheapest as they come so I dont knock cheap finds on ebay cause some of the stuff is worth snagging for the cost. Save money there so u can buy a baller suspension setup, that way u can actually feel the difference ur money is making. But Im sure, like everyone here, we want to know how it works for u, just for future knowledge

They will re post them. There not consistency on the site. I bought allot of Honda parts from eBay. They will be back. I always book mark the page, That way I can contact them about it when it's not re listed. I wanted a set of long tube (ebay) headers for my sil-40. I had this same problem. Contact the company that sells the s14 headers. They might sell them for s13's also. Or wait until it's re posted.

Let us know how they work. The guy who previously owned my ka24de welded the manifold to the exhaust. I will be picking one up if they work out.

it might be a while i still need to do the swap first.
