As the title says. the downpipe isn't long enough. Just hits, and JUST barely hits. But it's enough to concern me with a very warm floor.
Did everyone else's work like a champ and I'm just boned until it gets to the shop?
Also, Why the hell did I put an apostrophe in the description on the word hits? I must be tired

I guess /i should have been a little more clear. it hits under the car by the trans mount. about 6 inches after it's merged into one.
trans mounts fine. if anything the motor sits a little high in the bay with the poly mounts. But it should work fine. from the looks of things.

mine was touching the underbody somewhat. i had to cut and weld a little to get it to fit nicely. its still kinda close but some type of heatsheild would keep it cool.

I just paid my exhaust guy a case of beer to run a new pipe out to the back, starting right after the "y".

Mine is kinda a ghetto hack job the hits the driveshaft bearing bolt and rattles really bad under hard cornering. Oh well. It works for now..... I suck at making exhausts.

I ended up torching it, and using a big old 3/4 inch drive breaker bar to bend it down.

I was able to bend a full down pipe back exhaust, not bumps or rattles, and most important not hitting anywhere, was thinking if this would be something that you guys would be interested in. Ill post sound tomorrow night if I can

If you're concerned about heat, why not wrap the downpipe? That would take care of that.
