I've been trying pretty feverishly today to get it to work. Using the 240's cruise pump and diaphragm.

What all does the 200's cruise rely on?

Grr. Not having cruise is annoying sometimes.

i belive it was a vaccum ran system on the passenger strut, i had it in my vg powered se, till i swaped in the ka, i stripped basicly everything out of my motor bay that wasen't nessesary for the motor to run and i also just bought one of the billet throtle pulleys off ebay for shits and giggles, that pulley will eliminate the factorys cruse pulley on the ka anyway so. but i don't know for sure, i never realy used it anyway, however it is a good way to avoid a ticket in a speed trap area, i had a girlfreind that did that all the time, but the cop sat in the same spot for years

I have a CA one, I'm adapting a 240 one because the CA on not only wont fit in it's location because the DE is so big. But the cable to go to the throttle is the wrong size. It no worky.

ok so it would seem that you could get it to work then if you had the vg system them cables are longer

wait, ka's have a double throttle, if u ahd one stockwhy cant you use the ca one

Reading owns you. I explained in my last post

i see, well with the sohc it looks like it would fit, u cant just relocate it?

Relocation was tried. The throttle cables threaded part is too short resulting the the cable itself not being long enough. You put it on and it puts it at like 20 percent throttle just being hooked up.. I COULD modify the bracket of which it goes to. But I was hoping to not take that route.

i understand now

My Guess

You press the CC Button
Sends a signal to this little retarded thing on the passenger side of the car which draws vaccum from the Brake Booster/Intake Manifold
It activates the CC Pump somehow.

This is a guess because I had the little retarded thing in my car, but no CC or CC Pump

Did the stock one pull from the engine Vacuum? Or did it have a pump on it. I can't find mine so I can test it. It's however only showing three VALVES in the FSM. A Vaccum Valve, an Air valve, and a Release valve.

The 240's has an Air valve, a release valve, and a vacuum pump. (I think)

It should still work even if they are different. The circuits looks to act the same, only difference is when the Vacuum valve opens up, instead it will activate the vacuum pump.

Figured it out. Turns out my wiring was spot on. However the stop switch on the brake pedal had backed out, resulting in the cruise never being able to turn on. as it thought the brakes were applied.
