ok i got the ka in but just wondering how you guys do the alternator??

like i know the ca and the ka plugs for the alternator are different

so did you guys just spliced it or used the ca's alternator lol idk in need of some little help before i do anything

I've got all this documented now, just haven't put it up yet...

but

if you get a KA alternator plug, just remove the old 'T' style CA alt plug and splice on the KA one. The fat white wire (field source) goes to the fat white wire, the white/red small wire (batt light in dash) goes to the small white/red wire. its that simple biggrin.gif

The ground and other large white wire (12v output) are the same type connections.

Gotta ask this stuff in the right sections... you put this in CA18ET, but really you're doing a KA24DE swap so it should be THERE, and that is where I will move this thread.

Use KA alternator, PS pump... use KA accessories, that's the bottom line.

lol ok ok im sorry i didmt know witch one to put it in lol cause i was talking about ca and ka but yes your right lol i am talkin about the swap into s12
