Just A Quick Question to see if i got this right.

According to This Ignition system diagram for the fj20et, the part # for the Coil is: 22434
IPB Image

So According to this the D21 Ka24e Coil Is a: 22434
http://www.courtesyparts.com/22434-coil-ig...n-p-110269.html

So If I bought a Coil for a D21 Ka24e Engine(1990-1994)
It Should Swap Right over?

If not What are you all using? My Dr30 Skyline Came With the Coil Missing
Jon
That diagram does not display the complete part number. Nissan part numbers have considerably more numbers codes than that.
I'll think you'll find that 22434 will match the coil on plenty of Nissan engines - it is the rest of the number that will make it FJ20ET specific...

Ok So On To The Next Question...What Is Everybody using for a coil on there Fj's?
a tin pan alley
does it really need to be FJ specific? i think many people here use MSD Blasters regardless of engine type. there's one in my SE.
seishuku
The FJ part number is B2433-12P11, seems to be a Nissan standard coil.

Thanx Bud!

So A Msd Blaster 2 Coil Could be a Direct Swap?
seishuku
Yeah, you could fit one of those no problem.

My cross references say that the stock turbo FJ coil is the same as a 87 Pulsar NX XE, which judging from the pic would seem to be pretty much any coil from a distributor based Nissan engine built from 83-94. lol.gif

It was for my SE. I used this one:

You need to keep using the same transistor, though. If yours is bad, I don't know how to help you.

You can use the blaster coil thats what i am using on my FJ......for the transistor try out one from an L-Series motor......i think the blaster might be a little much for stock wires because i put stock ign wires on and took of my ultra 8 wires and my car ran like shit....then i put the Ultras back on with the blaster and the car ran awesome

anyways works like a charm and mad cheaper then getting it from Nissan i paid $300 for the coil and ignitor

Just ordered one Thanx Bud!
