I went early and only for a couple hours. Only saw about 4 or 5 s12's. I was looking forward to meeting some guys from CS12.. but I only met sam.
We def need to do just a s12 meet sometime, it would be cool to drive around too.

I got there like an hour before it started and the parking lot was already completely full.. Seems like they could choose a much better location.

the blue se next to my notch belonged to an older guy who doesnt post on here very often, but he wanted to talk to colin about a swap into his se...colin didnt show because he had work and randy told me his car wasnt done....


the white eg next to my notch is a buddies who came up with me...we left at 3am for this thing and got home around 6...when we showed up at like 7 there where already 20 cars or so there...there was also a red turbo hatch with an sr in it....the guy has been trying to register on the forum but his sn keeps getting bounced by the site...


btw i got pics and more stories...but i am at work so you guys can get those later...i just crashed when i got home last night...btw, that mpv van was on speedhunters during the crazy readers rides builds month....

I would like to make it to the canby meet...that meet is the biggest nissan/datsun meet in the northwest besides gg. My buddy with a 510 who i bought my hoshinos from is going to try to make it down there...he couldnt make it to gg with us because he was flying out to louisiana for work.

so 8 s12s...i was the only notch and the only car that started out as a 20e...I am thinking if we want to try to do a NW s12 meet we should see if colin and randy can talk doug into letting us meet up at up garage after colin's car is running...we could do a carl's jr/up garage meet and then maybe try to find some roads to drive on? idk.

we had cut 1 coil on my front springs a week or two ago...but my car is still to high...but my 15 inch hoshinos kind of make it look lower. I keep forgetting...most of those 510s are on ratsun.net, they seem pretty chill.

did you guys notice the power steering? (they don't have it) it has a s12 rack and modded s12 sub. I we put alot of time in to this one. and we converted it to an auto!

yah, it was a 1200 sunny coupe he restored...was suuuuuper clean. He showed me pics of the like 55 datsun he was working on along with the motor he had built in canada that was the original motor making like 36 whopping hp.



I didnt notice the powersteering randy...i did notice the rad set up as i had seen pics of it already on here...now i want to crawl under that 510! lol. There was an orange toyota mango with a 20v swap that my brother crawled under to check out what all had been done to the suspension...he told me like what all components had been swapped on to it and i asked him if he had talked to the owner and he said he wasnt around so he just crawled under the car...lol.

Honestly I probably didn't look very happy or approachable either. I have come to like GG less and less every year so I view it as more of an obligation than a fun experience. This was probably my last year I will be attending GG unless they have a change of venue next year. It was cool meeting Sam, his brother and friend though. All 3 were very cool guys. I totally agree we need to have a meet this summer sometime for the s12 guys only (and friends if they wanna come). I would enjoy that much more than GG.


On the NWN GG picture thread I saw more ae86's than s12's. Really sad considering it was a Nissan meet. I am regretting not taking pics this year after seeing the pics people took on NWN.

chris really hated s13s after seeing some of the ones there....we should start discussing a s12 meet up here though soon. The notch looks good because I keep working on it...hahaha, it is a time hole.
