im going forward with this build, ive got an engine in mind, picking it up this weekend with vg30_s12.
for ease of install, im probably going with carbs to start out, and wire up megasquirt and EFI later.
not gonna go into specifics yet, as the engine isnt in my possesion (yet...) but its a twin T3 draw through setup. ported and polished E88 head, along with a ported n36 manifold.
what i could use now is an expert on the b/c trans. im prepared to swap out the transmission, (as ill probably have to anyway) but i have a few questions.
whats the max ballpark ft lbs that can be pushed through a B/C trans before you start seeing gear soup? (im assuming very limited traction to start)
keep in mind i havent laid everything out yet, but a l series bellhousing will bolt up to a s13 c trans. what i need to know is whats the differences between the s13 c trans and the s12 c trans.
i may be completely talking out of my ass here, but im under the impression that the only differences in the B/C trans are internal (IE, bolt patterns the same, ect) and if the L bellhousing bolts to a C trans, it *SHOULD* bolt to the B trans as well.
