my car rides perfect now except for my right rear sub frame bushing....it will knock a bunch.....it didnt bother me until now.....I have a bunch of polyurethane crap I was going to use but I really dont wanna have to rip apart my whole rear to do it lol

Z31 polyurethane subframe bushings. theZstore.
Kustamogen
hmmm theyre anyway to get some polyurethane adhesive into them without having to drop the whole rear subframe? haha

You could drill a hole in the stay bracket and inject it in, I guess... Otherwise, no. tongue.gif
Kustamogen
hahaha hmmm wonder if that would work

that sounds total sketch...lolz.

i took the bottom plate off mine, and was able to "inject" it up into the bushing, though it REALLY didnt help much.

Best way if you want to do it like that, would be to jack the car up by something non-subframe related, fill it, and leave it sitting on the jack for like a week or so so that it can dry fully.

If you drop the stay brackets your almost half way there to just changing the bushings. Unhook the e-brake cable and drive shaft and you can pry the subframe down to gain enough access. If you loosen the rear mount until its about to drop out there is not even much prying. Getting the old bushing sleeves out is the big pain in the ass! If you don't have access to an air chisel. Putting it all back together is easier then taking it apart because the poly bushings are multiple pieces and makes it easier to align on the studs when your jacking the subframe back up in the car.

It will be too cold outside then.

Unbolt the diff(4 bolts to crossmember) and put a scissor jack under it, unbolt the arms but leave the car close to the floor so you don't have to support it, pull the ebrake lines and drop the subframe by itself. I've removed the subframe by itself without taking anything out and it's only 14 bolts. SUPER EASY. Don't deal with stuck/hard-to-reac driveshaft bolts or realigning the axles into the diff again.

IF you can get the control arm bolts out, sure.
If the old bushing is far enough gone, it might just fall out like mine did.
