The S12 World Affiliate Program was created in March 2006 and was a collaborative effort by Club S12 and S12 Owner's Club. After the UK members left to create their own club, and the Australian members did the same, there was less interaction between those members. It seemed as though they just disappeared. However, as an attempt to bridge this gap in communities, the S12 World Affiliate Program was created.
Each website/forum would have a set of small banners linking to each of the different communities and specifying the focus region of each club. Club-S12 would take North America, S12OC would take the UK, AUS12 would take Australia, and during the process, another club was found; S12 of Sweden would be for Sweden.
